There's a good news for EV owners! As EV adoption picks up across the country, Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) will now allow EV owners to keep a separate electric meter in their house. EV owners can also opt for a larger capacity meter if their vehicle cannot be charged without the approved load for domestic use.The Electricity Distribution Regulations, 2078 B.S will help increase the consumption of electricity and encourage individuals to opt for electric vehicles, says NEA.
